Lincoln County School District is our district of residence – they grant the charter to Community Services Consortium, which oversees Career Tech. This link will take you directly to the district web site, with access to the district calendar, information, etc.

One of the best in open source software for your computer. Ubuntu is one of the versions of the Linux OS we use at Career Tech on our new servers and workstations.

NetSmartz®

NetSmartz® is an interactive, educational safety resource from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children® and Boys & Girls Clubs of America for children (ages 5-17), parents, guardians, educators, and law enforcement that uses age-appropriate, 3-D activities to teach children how to stay safer on the Internet.

Driftwood Public Library

Driftwood Public Library is the CTHS official school library. Located just two floors below CTHS on the second floor of the city office building, Driftwood Public Library is an outstanding resource for students and families. Students are encouraged to get library cards, and to make full use of their facilities.

Online Dictionary

Dict.org is a publicly available online dictionary – good for spell checking! The links page is an excellent place to look for online dictionaries, including foreign language dictionaries, and good information about free public domain dictionaries.

Open Office

Open Office is a FREE office software suite. It is completely compatible with Microsoft Office, and is a viable replacement for Word, Excel, etc. It will open all Microsoft Office documents, and will even save in MS Office format.
